Today in music we have been working on creating our own
songs for a special occasion. The year 8’s have had the choice of making music
for Christmas, Halloween, Funerals, Weddings and Diwali.
Our year 8 boys Arun,
Tyler, Dylan and Keaton have demonstrated their knowledge of Dhol drumming to
the class, which we have compared against the music of Diwali. They are now
using these instruments to create their own Diwali song.
